Accredited: The Higher Learning Commission Member

Central Wyoming College has been accredited since March 1976 by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). The HLC evaluates an entire organization and accredits it as a whole. The HLC assesses the college on five criteria: mission and integrity; preparing for the future; student learning and effective teaching; acquisition, discovery, and application of knowledge; and engagement of services. The college's most recent accreditation was in 2006 following a comprehensive Self Study and the HLC team visitation that occurred in the fall of 2005 and which resulted in the maximum 10-year continued accreditation.

Information can be found regarding the Nursing accreditation process.
